Maidens for Mary In Action

Hey, it's Catherine! During most of the month of April, the local grocery stores instituted limits on essential goods such as bread to keep food hoarding down. With a large family, we couldn't subside on two loaves of bread a week. So I began to make homemade bread once again on a regular basis. The favorite was the Ciabatta that I made for Good Friday! I can't help but connect that to Our Mother, who would make bread for her Son every day - who now gives Himself as the Bread of Life! It gives me great joy to provide even this little corporal work of mercy so that I can feed my family without taking resources sorely needed elsewhere.
