Hello ladies! We're starting a new little series here to wrap up each month. In these reviews, we'll share all the blog posts that came out this month, highlights from our Instagram, Facebook, and a new series; Maidens for Mary: In Action. I'd like to feature our bloggers and you, Maidens for Mary, putting this title into practice in your everyday life. Hopefully, we can all inspire each other to live pure and holy lives after Mary's example. So without further adieu, let's take a look back at February, a month of new beginnings for us.
Britney returns to share about this month's topic; "Love One Another!" A short but great reminder that even the smallest word or smile can change someone's whole day.
Christmas is behind us and Lent is here! The seasons seem to change so fast and our culture is always looking forward to the next best thing. How can we remain contented in this constantly changing atmosphere? Sarah shares her thoughts and some suggestions in today's blog post.

Anjalee challenged us to say "I love you" to our family and she shared other great ideas to help us show love to those around us.
Did you miss Anjalee's reflection on giving up something realistic for Lent on Friday? Many of us struggle with negativity in many forms; peer pressure, stress, self-worth, etc. "Lent is about giving up something that we don't need or something that is bad for us in order to get closer to God." Let's examine our own lives and see what is keeping us from getting closer to God.
We celebrated the feast day of St. Blaise, Bishop and Martyr from Turkey. He is known as the patron saint of throats and other illnesses as he was a physician himself. Let us pray for all those suffering from such illnesses and those affected by the Coronavirus. St. Blaise pray for us!
We also celebrated the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes! May she intercede for us and all the sick.
Maidens for Mary: In Action
This month, I was blessed to be able to visit the Norbertine Canonesses of the Bethlehem Priory of St. Joseph in Tehachapi, California. My friends and I made it a little weekend road trip stopping for Ash Wednesday Mass, hot springs, and a date farm excursion along the way. It was beautiful to be able to make a mini-pilgrimage and just spend time in prayer with the sisters. We placed vibrant sunflowers at the feet of Mary's statue in the garden along with our heartfelt petitions. One of my favorite moments with Our Lady, though, was praying the rosary together on the car ride. It was so nice to entrust all of our hopes, plans, and petitions to her loving care. Then we would meditate on her Son's life and her virtues we want to imitate.
How have you put your Catholic Faith into action recently? Have you visited a Marian shrine or read a good book about Our Lady lately? I'd love to hear about it in the comments or send us a photo via Facebook messenger!
I am praying you have a blessed month of March!
God love you,
Sarah
