Theme for June- Friendships: Through Sunny Days and Pandemics

Greetings everyone!

I hope this post finds you all well as we continue to move forward through Covid. There is so much distress, fear, and anger sweeping across our country right now that is dividing us instead of unifying us. It thus prompted me to choose friendship as our theme for the month and encourage all of you to cultivate strong, healthy, lasting friendships during this time. To kick us off, I’m going to share a short list of points that are key to any friendship.

People Who Make the Best Friends......

-Show they are open to friendship with a smile, introduction, or handshake.

-Are interesting to talk to and be around because they know a wide variety of things.

-Listen more than they talk.

-Don’t criticize how other people look and don’t call them mean names.

-Can be relied on to honor their words.

-Tend to avoid arguments and conflict. (They know when to be “wrong”.)

-Treat others as equals.

-Are usually in a good mood and encourage the ideas and dreams of others.

Choose your friends carefully. They will become your teachers.

I hope you found this list helpful and I hope you have a great start to your summer!

~Nomie~
